神話、伝承を表した舞です。
Oldest Japanese princess dance~MIYANOMAI
Based on the ancient rituals of the priestesses passed down through generations, this dance depicts the life of the princess priestesses portrayed in historical literature such as the oldest texts 'Kojiki' and 'Nihon Shoki', as well as myths and legends.

「 まほろば 」
～伝説の勇者・日本武尊
古代の最強の英雄神として各地に祀られている日本武尊様と叔母の倭姫より授かった神剣・草彅剣の物語。
This is the story of Emperor Yamato Takeru, who is enshrined in various places as the strongest heroic god of ancient times, and the sacred sword Kusanagi no Tsurugi, which was given to him by his aunt, Princess Yamato.

～古から未来へのメッセージ～
古より繋がれし命。 いつの時代であろうとも、この世に生まれし意味を問う舞でございます。
「Jo-no-mai」
Life has been connected since ancient times. This is a dance that asking the meaning of being born into this world no matter what time of year it is.

「結ノ舞」
～ 寿なり めでたきなり ～
祝い事の有難き。皆が喜ぶ様をみて御神仏もお喜びになる。めでたき、めでたき舞です。
「Yui-no-mai」
This is a dance of joy and happiness and for celebrations. And also seeing everyone rejoice Gods and Buddha are so pleased.

「Bu-no-mai」
This is a dance that is the heart and soul of the samurai family who lives together with their people from all over the country making a daily life and rejoice in a harvest , and hold festivals to make enrich their hearts.

「Princess Toyotama」
Toyotama no Himeuta This represents Princess Toyotama, who is said to be the model for Otohime-sama of the Dragon Palace. This dance is also a prayer for safe delivery. The womb that nurtures the child for 10months is likened to the mother sea and It means "May the little ones have a wonderful life! Today, Shrine maiden Ai, with a 7-month-old baby in her belly, will dance.

御伽草子「浦島太郎」に描かれる
竜宮城の乙姫様の乙姫様のモデルともいわれる
豊玉姫様を表す舞。
「安産祈願」も込められています。
我が子を10月10日育む子宮は、
母なる海と例えられ、幼き命に
素晴らしい人生がありますように。
という意味が込められいます。
